W.S(Working Section):1Title of Working Section: Literature review, selection of possible chemical compounds to be examined as catalysts: It includes the literature review of micropollutants found in water and urban waste water and of materials used as catalysts for their removal.

The deliverables are:

1.1 Report-literature review of the main micro pollutants found in water and urban wastewater and of the materials used as catalysts in heterogeneous catalytic ozonation. Link

1.2 Critical evaluation report of the catalysts’ performance and selection of these, which will be evaluated in the laboratory in this research project.

W.S(Working Section):2 Title of Working Section: Monitoring of the effluent of the urban wastewater treatment plant for the detection of micropollutants: It includes the monitoring of the effluent of the WWTP Aineias to determine the micropollutants that are not removed or removed partially by the existing conventional technology.

The deliverables are:

2.1 Report with the results of the initial recording of the micropollutants found in the effluent of an urban wastewater treatment plant. link

2.2 Report with the updated results of the micropollutants found in the effluent of the urban wastewater treatment plant. Link
